Total Proceeds

Dear all,

Thank you very much for making our fundraising event on May 7, 2011 a fun day, and a great success!

We are pleased to announce that proceeds raised from this event came to a total of $15,962.42.

All proceeds will be donated to the recent Japan earthquake and tsunami victims through the Japanese Red Cross.

We would like to thank you once again for your continued kindness and support.
The proceeds raised will go a long way to show our united support and spirit for the recent victims in Japan.

先日は東日本大震災チャリティーガレージセールにご協力いただき、ありがとうございました。

今回のチャリティーイベントによる総収益金額は　$15,962.42　となりましたことを報告いたします。

収益金は全額在ロサンゼルス日本国総領事館に送付後、日本赤十字社に送られます。

今回のイベントでは、多くのお客様にご来場頂き、我々の予想を遥かに上回る義援金を集めることができました。

ひとえに皆さま一人ひとりの強い思いと、献身的なご協力の賜であります。

実行委員一同、皆さまに改めて感謝するとともに、この義援金が被災地の一日も早い復興に役立つことを願ってやみません。

Yo-Yo Balloon ヨーヨー釣り

Ever heard of Japanese yoyo fishing? It's a popular game found in mid-summer festivals all over Japan. The goal is to use a paper clip to hook a water-balloon floating yoyo in a shallow pool. Sounds easy, right? Not quite. Since the string attached to the clip is made out of paper, the trick is to "fish" out the yoyo before the paper sting gets wet and breaks. We will feature this fun game at the charity event! Come and play with us!
